If ya didn't already know I got upgraded in the phone world last month to the iPhone 4S and I loooooove it. Everyone's been telling me to get the screen protector but I haven't... And to get a bumper aka case for it and I finally did after I dropped it on the road lol... Isn't it so classic. I've found 2 other covers that I absolutely love too but I don't think my iPhone deserves a wardrobe... Lol or does it. Hahaha

This is the time of year where you give out candy to random strangers for free, you get candy from complete strangers too, you dress up as (a ballerina last night for me but a shadow come Halloween) pretty much whatever you want... It's a very random holiday. I like it. A few photos from last night.

Last year we went as Ms. Pac-Man... Pretty dang creative if ya ask me... Jess-purple ghost, Lavi-green ghost, Tilly-blue ghost, Mandi-orange ghost, Me-red ghost, Olo-Ms. PacMan, Ash-cherry.. g'd times.

2 Halloweens ago we were Superheros... I was Cpt. Americas Daughter, Tess was Robin, Ash was a self proclaimed superhero, Jess was a Ninja Turtle, Leni was Storm & Adi was I wanna say Catwoman but it's questionable. lol

I like that we always have a theme and we all go with it... Be safe, check the kids (your own) candies before eating, dress warm & happpppppppppy halloween!!

hahahaha I was surprised this guy called me of all the people in the world to go play with him. I remember when I was in Jr. High or something & he was trying to teach me how to play. I kept laughing & hitting the ball over the fence. LOL He would just shake his head & say stop laughing you're wasting your energy & hold the racket nicely. I didn't take it seriously (& I laugh when I don't know what I'm doing--actually I just laugh a lot in general lol) but fast forward to now & I just absolutely love playing. I'm not a pro but I'm taking in what he's teaching me & not laughing as much lol. I'm most def an amateur when it comes to this game but I love being able to spend time with my Dad & enjoy the weather while it's still nice out.... Once it starts snowing we'll move it indoors for some racquetball---my Dads ultimate game besides rugby oh & tennis too lol

Saturday.
6am wake up.
Everything I took fit in a backpack. lol

Flight to San Diego with my Pops to watch the Steelers Sweet 16's appearance.
Rental picked up.
Sweet 16's Rugby that was held at the Olympic Training Venue. Glendale 30 to Steelers 5. upsetting.

pit stop to charge phones & eat.
3 hr. road trip to see the Vaitai family.

more eating, talking stories, laughs, staying up past too late & too tired.
ZzzzZZZZZzzZzZ.
Sunday.
up early with plans to catch an early flight.
not happening--still at the Vaitai's discussing life, buying houses, going to school, struggles, happy memories, rugby & those sorts of things. nothing beats spending time with family. they are our most priceless treasures.

Have you tried it? I wanted to but didn't want to buy it so I posted on the #1 networking site as of right now Facebook to see if anyone wanted to lend me their copy & it worked {thanks Seini}. 60 days of intense workouts & I'm just on day 7.... I missed a day (Saturday) but I plan on doing it ummm I dunno when but I can't even double up my workouts right now. lol

I like it because it gets me heeeecka sweaty like I've never sweat this bad lol & it doesn't require any equipment besides something to play the DVDs on. I can't wait for the 60 days to be over & see the results. Only if I could get my eating right & my sleeping pattern down but working the grave shift 2am-10am is really trying my body. I don't really know when to eat & I although my sleeping pattern is getting better it's still sucky... either way I know those both affect my "trying to get fit" routine but hey at least I'm doing something about it right. MOVE MY BODY... Oh & I learned this dance too it was fun...

My first time meeting my nameless dog. My brother Tj & I decided to name him Neff after turning down my Moms clever inputs of Kava & Vava'u lol

He went missing on Friday morning.. It just so happened to snow that night & he didn't come home (he usually always come home after taking his lil' field trips).

Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday pass.... (I called the pound Monday & Tuesday to see if a dog with Neffs description was turned in [was placed on hold for them to take a look] ummmm we don't see a dog like that but it'd be in your best interest to come in yourself & look) I really thought they'd looked but I think they just sit there twiddling their thumbs because..

I went to the pound today & there he was matching my description to a T. Small pomeranian mixed black dog with brown paws & a yellow & green collar. You could not miss him. Oh well I'm sure they just wanted my $$$$ & they sure did get it.

Well I hope he enjoyed his stay at the pound kz I had to bail that lil' sucker out & I got a ticket hahaha but I'm glad he's home & now he is grounded from ever going outside without being on a leash!!! Love you Neff you wanderer...

**Note to self--Calling the pound to see if ur dog has been turned in=FAIL... make sure you just go over there & look for yourself because they say they look but I HIGHLY DOUBT they do. & I've had Neff for 1 year 5 months now..

Each year goes by faster than the last... I didn't snap photos of everything but my birthday was beyond me as always. From my Pops early morning text that I swear I keep on my phone all year to lunch with Mama & Aunty Lin to a letter from Elder Mounga to random shopping with Moni to the movie/candy gift pack from Nina & Baby to dinner with the girls. Thanks a millie mi amarosa familia (yes I'm learning some espanol kz of Elder Tj Mounga :D ) & thanks for all the gifts & thoughts & yeah just everything... & a huge thanks to mi parentals for the BIKE kz heaven knowsI got so much candy I could start my own candy shop so I will be best friends with that bike when I'm sick of running. lol It was indeed a brilliant type of day.

April is a wonderful month to be born in...so to all you April babies I just want you to know that you are the best from all the rest.

What's been on my mind or going on with me:
So I got a new job about 2 weeks ago @ this wonderful establishment which they call Security Metrics. It's different from the other jobs I've had & I feel like I will succeed in it.

Elder TJ Mounga is doing wonderful things in the MTC & his espanol is getting muy bueno. A dear friend of mine has Rosetta Stone so I have high hopes that my espanol will become muy bueno so that when my lil' Mexican brother comes home we can have a quaint conversation over some hot cocoa & crumpets. [doesn't it sound lovely]

I've decided that every year for the next 9 years I will get a new stamp in my passport even if it is just to Mexico or Canada... My passport will be full of international stamps.

I still like to buy the books that are on sale at Urban Outfitters for my cocoa table collection.

I like to read magazines more than I like to read books (the books for my cocoa table collection aren't the novel type books just fyi)

I'm training for a 1/2 marathon & although I like running outdoors more I am running on a treadmill so I can get a precise distance & time lol..

Why is becoming unfit is so easy & going back to being fit is so hard! Must remember NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS & "Run like HELL today or feel like HELL tomorrow" Yes I owned a tee that had that saying on it courtesy of NIKE... (Pardon their French) ahem. lol

I dont know where that shirt is that I'm mentioning in the above statement but I would like another one. hmmmm must google it to find it.

I've put my shoes in rotation.. Meaning if I wear a pair on Monday I can't wear them again 'til 3 days pass (but I break that rule for my TOMS & running shoes).

Nothing better than getting snail mail that is... Love, luv, heart getting letters from my lil' bruh Elder TJ Mounga... His letters always make me laugh on the verge of crying lol. He is still him.. personality wise. I've heard people say some missionaries lose their personalities while in the work... well not this guy.... He can still make me laugh super hard on paper. It's just crazy to see him change through letters. He is going to be an super awesome extrodinary missionary. He's helped my testimony grow so much just from his letters alone. I can't even image what he'll accomplish in person. DO WORK bro. so proud of you... I could go on & on & on about this guy but I'll save that for my old school journal lol.

A group of us got together last minute & participated in this event. We walked barefoot from the mouth of the Provo Canyon to the Shops at the Riverwoods to help spread awareness for the millions of people that WALK BAREFOOT everyday & have no choice. I hardly ever walk around barefoot so it was pretty rough doing so but it made me more thankful for what I've got. I'm also glad I can help someone out when I buy a pair of TOMS so yay to shopping that helps others in return.

In the heart of SLC

Yes it was on the Food Network Channel.

It was one of the Man vs. Food episodes.

We watched it & our mouths watered.

Before TJ went into the MTC he said we had to try the Machine Gun. He's the random type [knows random facts, says random things, has random taste] lol but yeah.

So I had the privilege of driving with my other brother Moni to Ogden to meet with some of the Weber football coaches. On our way home we stopped at Bruges Waffles & Frites to try out this much talked about sandwich.

Moni ordered the Machine Gun & we shared it.

This stuff is the bomb like tick tick... Add it to waffles. magnific!!!

It's overrrrrrrrrr. All the saturday practices, scrambling to find a costume, asking what move is after this move... It's done. It was so fun & I'm glad I danced. I don't know how people were dancing in more than 2 sections. Running off stage to jump into the next costume & running back to the stage. All for the love of the show huh. I didn't get to watch the whole show but I'm sure every section was great!! 'Til next year...

This is my second time dancing in the BYU Luau. The first time was supposed to be with my cousinita Piilani Afu but she ducked out on me & this year was supposed to be with my other cousinita Saane Heimuli & like they say history does repeat itself lol she ducked out on me too hahahaha oh well. Tonight is the last show [yesterday was the 1st] so that's all I'm writing 'til it's over & done.

AZ Trip...

March 11-15
Delta wings on... Landed in PHX on 1 hour of sleep [the tsunami warning for Hawaii kept me up all night] & it was go go go from there.. My cousinita Maryann & her Pops picked me up & we drove all around AZ looking for some part for Uncle. I was super tired so I was in & out of sleep the whole time. Finally got to Auntie Marg's house & saw the chaos the Aloha Festival was having on there lives lol. Costumes everywhere, people everywhere, sewing machines everywhere... Headache haha It was nice to see everyone real quick then to Aunty Luti & Uncle Gils. Gilber & DeAnne came by with TJ & Kaili. Those boys are too dang cute.

I love having family just about everywhere because it gives you a reason to visit them & their residing state... So off to Cali I went. Bag packed for 4 days... ended up extending my trip and extra 6 days hahaha I know who the heck does that??? I DO!! lol it was so nice to just be there with no agenda. Usually when I visit Cali there's always something going on [usually a wedding or a funeral] so this time was the 1st time I was going for no reason but to go. There was a lot that went on since I was there for over a week so I'm going to give the short & sweet version with a few photos from each day...

DAY 1 & 2: Got to Trish & Siones. The girls were asleep but Baby Georgie was still up so he's my first photo of the trip. The next day the best tour guide in the world picked me up for church then we made off to tour the CITY for my 1st time ever.. I la-la-la-looooooved it from the Golden Gate Bridge {which lightweight freaked me out kz I just watched this totally sad but....yeah} to Fishermans Wharf. I think I'll take a jog across the bridge next time I'm in town lol seriously though.

Sidenote: I fell in love with this Thrifty Brand Ice Cream that the Kahos had stocked at all times. It was the Chocolate Malted Crunch & Coconut Pineapple flavors. I swear I ate that everyday I was there & had no physical activity. hahaha horrible I know but I enjoyed it very much.

That pretty much sums up my SFO trip. I always forget how much family I have out there in the Bay so it was nice to be able to see the majority of them. And the biggest hugest thanks to Sione & Trish for letting me take up space in their lovely home!!! Time for me to catch some ZzZZZzzZz's now. AZ post & BYU luau posts will be next. yeeeeeeeeeee

RUGBY [Provo Lady Steelers]

We have a pretty big rugby tournament coming up this weekend & I am super excited/nervous about it!!! It's kind of a big deal because the majority of the teams [all but 1] are from Utah!!! It's crazy how this sport is FINALLY GROWING & everyone is playing!!! It took a long time to get to this point but it's so cool to finally see it catch fire here in Utah!!!

Yesterday my Dad came out to help at practice which was so nice because... well in my eyes my Dad is my rugby legend & in the few minutes he was there he made a difference. Yeah I may be biased since he is my Dad but none the less it was amazing to have him there!!!

And so if you are in Utah this wkend and want to see some Women's Rugby the tournament starts Friday July 23rd at the Murray Field [5201 South Murray Park Lane (150 East), Murray, UT 84119] & we [Provo Lady Steelers] will be playing our 1st game at 8am vs. the Slugs... We will have 2 games later on that day as well & then Saturday will be single elimination leading up to the FINAL game...

I am a big fan of TOMS shoes. They are comfy & for a g'd cause. I mean I love luv heart buying shoes. It's a bad habit but I rationalized these... It's like doing service :D lol yeah ok whatever but they are my fave go to shoes right now.... & as u can see I did some customization on mine kz I call these my Bruce Lee shoes..

On April 7, 2009 Lavinia Tiana Keota Mounga Lomu was born!!!! My lil' namesake... Ok so her name was a little too long so it got shortened to Lavinia Tiana Keota Lomu.. hahaha She's beyond beautiful.

Her mom Ampee & I have been friends for forever & when she told me what her and her husband Moe had decided to name the baby me I just cried... The photos below are on the day she was born..all 6lbs & 6oz of her 18 inch self... I'll update with more pictures later... So I saw these shoes and thought... Those aren't even cute for me, but the thing that got me wasn't the style of the shoe or the color.... It was what was written below that caught my attention & kinda sorta makes me want to buy a pair of these "not even cute for me" shoes. lol

1.Last Friday I got to spend some time with my Jis' Tema and her husbanito D.
We went to watch this movie [picture below]...
It was Temas choice of course and it was soOooOooOoO long & loooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggg!! haha then guess what happened...
She kidnapped me and made me sleepover. haha
Not to worry though kz I had treats galore and we even played monopoly & a wii for a sec :]

Ok before I go on.... MERRY LATE super duper LATE CHRISTMAS & HAPPY 14 days late NEW YEARS!!! hahaha So I still have yet to get caught up with my uploading photos and all that but I have to have to post about the SUNDANCE film festival that starts TOMORROW!!!!

First of all I have lived in Utah all of my life and I haven't seen or been to half of the cool things that we have out here. I know that thousands, perhaps even millions travel from who knows where to come here and see the spectacular sites or attend one of the many events held here... Like the Sundance Film Festival. I am super excited that I'm going to go to it this year. It started off as a random thought, but now I'm going to turn that thought into REALITY!

I don't plan on attending any of the films, but I am planning on [emphasis on planning] going to one of the performances being held at Harry O’s [located at 427 Main St.] This year is supposedly different from the previous bekz on the 1st wkend of the Festival they usually don't have any BIG names putting on shows. But check out the lineup they have this year...

HAPPY DECEMBER everyone, 2 days late but hey what can I do. lol Hope everyones Thanksgiving was SUPERB and delissssshhhhhhhh. I am super excited for Christmas, but I have to say for the record. I feel bad for Thanksgiving... In stores after Halloween passes the Christmas decorations go up and Christmas songs start playing. Don't get me wrong I LOVE LOVE HEART CHRISTMAS too, but I really don't want to hear Christmas songs until AFTER Thanksgiving has passed. hahaha Poor Thanksgiving (yes I'm personifying it here) has to share it's spotlight with Christmas. I'm sure if Thanksgiving had a song for Christmas it would be "Spotlight" haha ok maybe not the whole song but atleast this one line, "I don't like, living under your spotlight." hahaha ok ok I've gone on enough about this, but to end it I just wanted to list a few of the things that I'm THANKFUL FOR since I missed blogging on Thanksgiving a the days in between..

I was about to just settle and have someone else take our photos but I thought to myself, "self if you're REALLLLLY set on Omi doing your family photos just email her and see what happens..it never hurts to ask" so I did just that and lo and behold... She had a slot open for us. Omi is magical and got some choice shots in the little time we had the sun up! Thanks a million & some!!! Thanks to Sila also (Omi's assistant) for being my folks conversation piece! hahaha They tend to pull people away from what they're supposed to be doing so they can have a conversation! haha

I rarely get to watch t.v and usually when I get home I'm super tired. Althought my tiredness is screaming at me to jump into bed to catch those very much needed ZZzZZzzz I stay in the tv room and try to keep my eyelids open 'til about 1-2am just to catch a dose of this show...

HOUSE... If you've never watched an episode, DO and you will see what I mean. You see... I have this dream, to be a nurse... but something is keeping me away from doing it (probably the schooling, amongst other things lol) but after watching house I want to become that nurse that I dream of.. Or maybe I just want to be a "nurse" on this t.v show kz Dr. House is ingenious and I love it!!! Anyways just thought I'd let you know.

Other shows I love to watch when I can:

Whose house??? RUUUUUNNN'S House. I love his "g'd morning" quotes at the end of each episode.

Yeah I do watch it. The HiLLs. I been watching this thing since the Laguna Beach Days haha

TYRA MAIL... I always wondered why they called it America's Next Top Model but they continue to have another season with another winner over and over again. They might as well make a pagent out of it like Miss USA so 1 will reign as Miss ANTM until the next season and so on and so forth. Imagine in SEASON 22 of ANTM the girl that wins that is going to be like "I AM AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL" and everyone else is just like "woooo whoooooo it's not like you're the 1st" hahaha or that's just what I'm thinking in my head. Anyways it doesn't matter kz I still watch it and I like to watch it. I mostly like to wait until the season is over and then just watch it from the beginning until the end all in one sitting :)

Alias. My cousin Lose got me addicted to this series a while ago. I would go over to her house after school and stay there until the wee hours of the morning trying to get as far as we could in the hours alotted. haha

With technololgy these day I love that you can tivo/rent/barrow or whatever the shows you want kz then you don't have to wait however long they want to drag it out for (as I kinda of sort of explained in my excerpt for ANTM) You can get the whole season and make a day/wkend/whatever you want out of it. Sheer bliss :)

Even though I was cheering for them BEAVERS, (yes I know I'm from Utah and blah blah blah but hey they hooked me up with the free tix: thanks Moana & the OSU D-line coach) I think I fell in luv with David Reed he had an amzing run in the 1st half of the game showing off his running game and route changes :), Louie Sakoda kz he is just simply the most amazing kicker (period), & Brian Johnson for putting on one heck of a show even when some of those so called Ute fans walked out before the game was done.... If you were at the game you would have the luv that I have too.. Glad Moni was able to go to a g'd, real live college football game before heading into the MTC just 3 days before the big BYU vs. U of U game. Can't wait for that one... pictures coming soon (I hope) haha

It's times like this.....

Today as I was driving to work I saw two women dressed in church clothes, smiling, and carrying trays of brownies or something deelish I'm sure (I know I'm a feti lol) and it made me wonder where they were going and why they were in such a happy mood. As I drove closer I saw the infamous BLACK NAME TAGS instantly connecting those tags to the fact that they were Sister Missionaries; like a reflex my hand hit the horn and I was waving.. and they waved back of course. I love seeing missionaries and I can't believe my l ittle brother will be one in a couple of weeks :) yahoooooooooo!

Anyways back to my "It's times like this" moment. I'm at work and I get to talk to lots of people kz I book fllights for our clients.. Anyways I was talking to this gentleman about his flight options just like I do with everyone else. Close to the end of our conversation I ask him if he has any questions for me. He laughed a little and said he was glad I asked that question at the end. I always do. He paused for a bit then went on to tell me that he was having a tough time figuring out who to use as a dropshipper and all this stuff.... his wife passed away a few weeks ago and he didn't have a lot of time to put into this business. I'm sorry for your loss. He went on saying he had to spend a lot of time with his sons, kz they've taken it pretty hard and he is just kind trying to mop them all up right now then he laughed a different, nervous type of lost laugh.

I don't know if he's a member or not but from the conversation I guessed he wasn't and right then I thought... it's times like this that make my testimony grow and keeps me grateful for the extensive knowlege that I have gained from the gospel!!! I wanted to tell him what I know and explain the PLAN to him and all the great things the gospel brings to this life. I wanted to send missionaries to his house and have them teach him and his boys the discussions and how tell them how they can be together with their mom again after this life. I wanted to help him and his family.

I told him I could totally understand and asked him what he would like to do, if he would like to come to a later Conference or stay in the one he was already in. He said he would just stay in the one he was in because he needed a slap in the face to just keep going. I told him that was good and that he's doing a great job. He said thanks and I told him I would keep his family in my prayers. He said thank you again and that was the end of that. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life and I pray each day that missionaries continue diligently in their work to find those READY and WAITING to hear the gospel. I pray the missionaries find this family soon :)

So I wasn't planning on going to any football game tonight, but last minute my mom texted me and said TJ could play!!! He had missed 2 games kz he dislocated his elbow but his recovery was super fast, he should have missed half the season or more. I'm glad we're back to Friday nights being dedicated to his football games again!!! Oh yeah... And they finally won a game... They played Payson. YAY for HOMECOMING...

Yesterday was a real special day for my family, but moreso for my little brother Moni. He got his mission call!!!! We all guessed where he'd be called to serve:

Emeli-Mississippi
T.J-Chile
Me & Baby Jane-The D.R
Mom-Tonga
Dad-Where ever the Lord wants him to go (he would say that!) haha

He opened it and started to read to himself.....
then I interrupted, "can you read it OUTLOUD! haha"
he read on and finally got to CLEVELAND OHIO!!!! we listened on... reporting to the MTC on November 19th... That's a special day for us times 3 now. It's Grandpa Alamoti's birthday (Temas too) and it's the day Moni will begin his missionary service!!!
Phones opened up and texts got sent out too all the familly from Me and T.J...

#1 - I wish I were a photographer... I carry my little PNS camera with me just about everywhere I go.

Happy HAPPY Ray's 20th birthday DAY! I can't believe he's that old (haha like I'm young or something) but yes he is. It was simple. Went to eat with the fam + Vai, went home and had him blow out his candles oh his deeelish ice cream cake from DQ :) his fave, and that was it... Love you Ray...

Ok so my life is finally back to normal.. YAY!!! But I have to admit all the craziness, driving all over Utah, never sleeping, and eating junk food the whole time was well worth it!!! hahaha

Temas wedding was super fab. I can't believe it's come and gone now. Yes I know that was a short explaination, but I just can't go into anymore detail until I get all of the pictures up!!! Here's a picture of Tema's cake that I helped my cousin Maryann make (she's pretty amazing at doing these types of things but she hates it) HOW BIZARRE!!!!!!!!!!
T.Js football game was.... uhhhhhggggg when I post the pictures they will explain more...

My family spoke in Sacrament on Sunday... That was pretty funny, since we didn't really prep too well.. I swore I wasn't going to cry, but Moni spoke before me and started to cry so I was already teary-eyed and muffled when I got up to speak...

School is back in session tomorrow. MIXED emotions about that one! hahaha
I got a 2nd job! Gotta replenish my savings account and buy my darn school books/laptop!!
